Sindh CM election will be held on Monday
KARACHI, Feb 24 (SABAH): The election for the Sindh chief minister for the next five years is set to take place during the Sindh Assembly session on Monday.
As per the schedule released by the provincial assembly secretariat, nomination papers will be issued and received on Sunday. The final list of candidates will be posted on the notice board after the scrutiny of papers on the same day until the evening.
The polling for the chief minister’s election is scheduled for around 11am on Monday, February 26. The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), the majority party in the Sindh Assembly, has already put forward Murad Ali Shah as its candidate for the chief minister’s position.
