Sikandar Sultan Raja congratulates the people of Pak & all the institutions who made successful conduct of General Elections possible 

ISLAMABAD, Feb 08 (SABAH): Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja has congratulated the people of Pakistan and all the institutions who made successful the conduct of the General Elections possible. 

In a televised message to the nation, Sikandar Sultan Raja said that polling for elections has been completed, and counting of voters is now in progress. He said that polling was conducted smoothly under secure environment and results would be announced as soon as possible. He said that a few complaints were reported at different polling stations that were addressed promptly. With the announcement of the results, the conduct of General Elections 2024 will be completed, he added.

In his statement, Chief election commissioner also expressed his special debt of gratitude to the international media and observers who especially came to Pakistan to observe election process.

He said returning officers, polling officers, presiding officers, security forces and all other stakeholders made this important task successful. He said counting of votes has now started. He said a few complaints were received, which were resolved promptly.
