Shamsul Haq was a hero of speech & character: Syed Salahuddin
MUZAFFARABAD, Dec 17 (SABAH): Guardian, teacher, writer and intellectual martyr Ghulam Muhammad Mir of Freedom Movement commonly known as Shamsul Haq was a hero of speech and character. The lesson which he taught others, he himself acted upon it while giving sacrifice of his life.
Hizbul Mujahideen Chief and United Jihad Council Chairman Syed Salahuddin Ahmed expressed these views while paying homage Shamsul Haq him on the occasion of particular event called to recall the martyr sacrifices. His life is full of a number of sacrifices, he said and added his life is beacon of hope for the coming generations.
He said that it has been over 30 years that martyr Shamsul Haq departed us but each and every moment of his life is in front of us. He strengthened and organized the soldiers, adding that he remained steadfast with his mission.
The martyr, he said a number of times damaged the enemy. Shamsul Haq was a man of vision and a good organizer. Syed Salahuddin Ahmed said that his life will always be remembered, adding he was some of those leaders who devoted everything for the freedom movement. He said the martyr’s eternal and matchless sacrifices would be remembered, adding mission of martyr will be continued at any cost.
The depressed people of Jammu and Kashmir will surely get rid of slavery and tyranny of Indian occupational forces continuing since 76 years. Naib Emir Hizbul Mujahideen Saifullah Khalid, Commander Shamsher Khan and Maulana Taj Ali Shah also addressed on the occasion. All the speakers paid homage to martyr and pledged that their sacrifices will not be allowed to go waste. All the participants of the event prayed for all the martyrs for their higher status and reiterated that freedom struggle will be continued at all fronts.
