Shabab-ul-Muslimeen organize seminar in Muzaffarabad to pay homage to July 13, 1931 martyrs
MUZAFFARABAD July 13 (SABAH): Students Wing of Tehreek-e-Shabab-ul-Muslimeen, under the leadership of its Chairman Riaz Ahmad Awan, organized Kashmir Martyrs Conference in Muzaffarabad on Thursday to pay tributes to the Kashmiri martyrs of July 13, 1931 on their martyrdom anniversary,
The conference was presided over by Central Chief Organizer Naseer Mir and Chief Organizer Students Wing Faizullah Durrani.
Addressing the seminar, the speakers termed July 13, 1931, as an important milestone and said the sacrifices being rendered by the Kashmiri people are the continuation of the mission of the July 13 martyrs.
Condemning the continued human rights violations by Indian troops and enforcement of draconian laws by New Delhi in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the speakers appealed to the international community to play its role in halting these rights abuses.
They said India is using extrajudicial killings, arrests, torture and other brutal tactics to suppress the freedom sentiment of the Kashmiri people but will never succeed in its nefarious designs. The participants reaffirmed the Kashmiris’ resolve to render all kinds of sacrifices for the Kashmir cause and take the ongoing freedom movement to its logical conclusion at all costs.
The speakers said the resolution of the lingering Kashmir dispute is imperative for ensuring permanent peace in the region and urged the world community to help in settling it in accordance with the Kashmiris’ aspirations. At the end of the conference, special prayers were offered for the Kashmiri martyrs.
The speakers include Vice Chairman Munir Ahmad Kunshi, General Secretary Zubair Durrani, Deputy General Secretary Shahid Awan, Media Advisor Arshad Awan, Social Media Advisor Imtiaz Awan, Deputy Media Advisor Atif Mir and President of Mankpiyan Unit Abrar Mir.
