Seven killed, many injured in an armed attack in Nigeria’s mosque
ABUJA, Sep 3 (SABAH): Gunmen fired on Muslim worshippers in a mosque in Nigeria, killing 7 people. An investigation has been launched into the attack, which injured many worshippers, Anadolu Agency reported.
According to media reports, 7 people were reportedly killed in an armed attack on a mosque in Nigeria’s Kaduna state. According to reports in the national media, unidentified gunmen opened fire on people praying at Isha prayers at the mosque in Saya-Saya village in Kaduna state on the other day.
Seven people lost their lives and many people were injured in the attack. Authorities stated that the wounded were taken under treatment in the neighbouring hospital and an investigation was launched into the incident. Nigeria’s Kaduna state has recently been facing attacks by armed gangs. In the state, 214 people were killed and 746 people were kidnapped in attacks organized between January and March this year.
