Serving humanity is such an investment which is even beneficial for the person after his death: Muhammad Abdul Shakoor


ISLAMABAD, Mar 21 (SABAH): President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Muhammad Abdul Shakoor while addressing the annual provincial general council meeting of Alkhidmat Foundation North Punjab has said that serving the humanity is such an investment which is even beneficial for the person after his death. He said that instead of limited resources the big projects have been completed due to the devoted team of Alkhidmat Foundation and its volunteers.

Muhammad Abdul Shakoor said that Alkhidmat Foundation is proud of its volunteers who rescue the people facing disaster while putting their own lives at risk.

The general council meeting chaired by its Provincial President Rizwan Ahmed and was also attended by provincial secretary general Nameer Hassan Madni, vice president Amjad Mahmood Bhatti, deputy secretary general Syed Amjad Hussain Shah, assistant secretary general Javed Qaimkhani, district presidents and secretary generals and other office bearers.

While briefing the meeting about the annual performance Rizwan Ahmed said that Alkhidmat Foundation served 1.132 million people in 11 districts with the cost of Rs 1.1714 billion. Rizwan Ahmed said that Alkhidmat Foundation North Punjab is looking after 2,280 orphan children with the increase of 716 children, adding that Rs 25 million have been spent on education and looking after these brave children. He said that Rs 26.382 million have been spent on the community services, Rs 4.821 million on water projects and under Muwakhat Program Rs 2.878 million have been given in form of interest free loans.
