Senate Body discusses issues & deficiencies in Parliament lodges 

ISLAMABAD, Jan 12 (SABAH): Meeting of the Sub-Committee of the Senate House Committee was held under the Convener ship of Senator Falak Naz  at Parliament House on Wednesday.

Discussion with regards to the issues and Deficiencies in the Parliament lodges was taken up.

The Convener Committee while describing the deteriorating condition of the Lodges divulged a list of issues faced by the Parliamentarians residing in the Lodges, including polluted water, broken windows of corridors, broken electricity boards, deteriorated lift condition, poor quality of food in cafeteria, unhygienic toilet conditions, leakage of water and many other as well.

The CDA officials assured the Committee to solve the problems at the earliest and also described shortage of funds to carry out maintenance works.

The Meeting was attended by Senator Falak Naz, Senator Rubina Khalid, Senator Fawzia Arshad and CDA Officials as well. The Sub-Committee will present its report to the Senate House Committee.
