Security forces kill nine terrorists in two separate engagements in North Waziristan operations

RAWALPINDI, Jan 12 (SABAH): Security forces have killed nine terrorists in two separate engagements in North Waziristan operations

According to the ISPR, an intelligence-based operation was conducted by the security forces in general area Dosalli, on reported presence of terrorists. During the operation, the troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location and resultantly, six terrorists were killed, while two terrorists were apprehended.

Another intelligence-based operation was conducted in general area Esham. After intense fire exchange, three terrorists were neutralized by security forces, while two terrorists got injured.

Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the terrorists, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against the security forces as well as target killing of innocent civilians. Sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other terrorists in the area. 

The ISPR in its statement reaffirmed determination to wipe-out the menace of terrorism from the country.
