Security forces kill eight terrorists in two separate operations in KP

RAWALPINDI, Dec 01, (SABAH): Eight terrorists were killed in two separate operations in Khyber Pukhtunkhwa from Friday last till Sunday.

According to ISPR, an intelligence based operation was conducted in Baka Khel area of Bannu District on reported presence of terrorists. During the conduct of operation, own troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location and resultantly killed five militants, while nine terrorists got injured.

However, during the operation, Sepoy Iftikhar Hussain, having fought gallantly, embraced shahadat.

In another operation conducted in Shagai area of Khyber District, three terrorists were killed, while two were apprehended by the security forces.

During intense fire exchange, Captain Muhammad Zohaib Ud Din, who was leading his troops from the front, fought bravely, paid the ultimate sacrifice and embraced martyrdom.

These terrorists were involved in numerous terrorist activities against the security forces as well as innocent civilians.

Sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other terrorist found in the area.

The security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve.
