Security Forces kill 12 TTP terrorists in Lakki Marwat: ISPR

RAWALPINDI, Feb 08 (SABAH): On night 7 – 8 February 2023, a very successful Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) was conducted by Security Forces in Lakki Marwat area. During exchange of fire, 12 terrorists from banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) were killed.

According to the press release issued by ISPR on Wednesday, terrorists’ movement and activities were being watched by intelligence tentacles for the last one week. Terrorists were lured in by providing a vehicle for escape that was intercepted and neutralised.

Weapons, ammunition and Afghan currency was also recovered from the terrorists during the operation. Security Forces are carrying out clearance operation in the area.

Locals appreciated the operation and lauded the efforts of Pakistan Army in eliminating terrorism.
