Second plane carrying 17 tons of relief goods arrives in Beirut on behalf of Alkhidmat Foundation: Prof. Dr. Hafeezur Rehman

BEIRUT, Oct 28 (SABAH): The second ship of relief goods sent by Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan has arrived in Beirut with 17 tons of relief materials. Pakistani Ambassador Salman Athar received the goods along with other officials and representatives of Alkhidmat.

Earlier, Central President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman, Vice President Ijazullah Khan along with other officials and government officials sent relief goods from Karachi Airport.

Speaking on this occasion, Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman said that millions of families have been affected as a result of the war imposed by Israel in Gaza and Lebanon. He said that Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan is continuing relief operation for these war victims.

A special plane carrying 100 tons of relief goods visited Beirut in the past few days along with the Vice President Air Marshal (retd) Arshad Malik. The families affected by the war have taken shelter in different schools and many families are still under the open sky despite the severe weather effects. He said we reviewed the needs of the victims.

Keeping this in mind, relief goods are being sent with the support of the Pakistani people, the second plane arriving in Beirut contains 17 tons of relief goods including sleeping bags, tents, blankets, prepared food, hygiene kits, medicines, clothes, rice, cooking oil. As a result of Israel’s air attack in Lebanon, sending relief goods to thousands of families to affected people will be continued according to their needs.
