Sana Ullah Khan Mastikhel unanimously elected as Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Inter Provincial Coordination

ISLAMABAD, July 09 (SABAH): The Standing Committee on Inter Provincial Coordination in its meeting held on Tuesday in the Parliament House, Islamabad unanimously elected Sana Ullah Khan Mastikhel, MNA as its Chairman.

The election was conducted by Muhammad Mushtaq, Advisor (Legislation), Syed Jawad Murtaza Naqvi Additional Secretary (Committees) and Syed Haseen Raza Zaidi, Joint Secretary (Committees).

Muhammad Mushtaq, Advisor (Legislation), National Assembly Secretariat welcomed the Committee Members and described the procedure for election of the Chairman under rule 216 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the National Assembly, 2007. Anjum Aqeel Khan, MNA/Member proposed the name of Sana Ullah Khan Mastikhel, MNA, as Chairman of the Committee and seconded by all the members of the Committee. Accordingly, Sana Ullah Khan Mastikhel, MNA, was unanimously elected as Chairman of the Standing Committee on Inter Provincial Coordination. 

The Advisor (Legislation) congratulated the newly elected Chairman on behalf of the Honorable Speaker, Deputy Speaker, Secretary General National Assembly and assured him full support from the Secretariat for effective and efficient functioning of the Committee.

The Chairman expressed his gratitude to the members for posing confidence in him and assured them to run the business of the Committee with consensus. The members while appreciating views of the honorable Chairman assured him their fullest support in the process of legislation. Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry and Malik Muhammad Aamir Dogar, MNAs/Chief Whips congratulate the newly elected Chairman and extend their support for the Committee.

The meeting was attended by MNAs Anjum Aqeel Khan, Sheikh Aftab Ahmed, Sardar Yaqoob Khan Nasir, Muhammad Miqdad Ali Khan and Dr. Mahreen Razzaq Bhutto (via online). Dr. Tariq Fazal Ch. MNA/Chief Whip (Ruling Party) and Malik Muhammad Aamir Dogar, MNA/Chief Whip (Opposition) were also present besides the senior officers of the National Assembly Secretariat.
