Sajjad Karim expresses deep grief & sorrow on the death of Pervaiz Musharraf

LONDON, Feb 05 (SABAH): Sajjad Haider Karim former Member of the European Parliament and Chairman of the European Parliament Friends of Pakistan Group has expressed deep grief and sorrow on the death of former president General (retd) Pervaiz Musharraf.

“I was truly saddened to hear. May the departed soul be blessed with a most wonderful abode in the hereafter” Sajjad Karim said in a condolence message issued on Sunday.

Sajjad Karim said that former president general (retd) Pervaiz Musharraf demonstrated deep thinking and understanding in all his dealings with the United Kingdom and European Union over many years. “I recall King Charles and I appealed for his understanding in a case involving a British citizen and it received his due clemency” he said.

“Hoping no undue hindrance will be faced and all arrangements will be in accordance with the families wishes, including repatriation, if it is sought” Sajjad Karim said.
