Sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) & his martyrdom is a living reality: Rukhshanda Muneeb

KARACHI, July 14 (SABAH): In her special statement on the occasion of the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (RA) on 10th Muharram, President Jamaat-e-Islami Women’s Wing, Sindh Province, Rukhshanda Muneeb, said that from the story of Imam Hussain’s life and sacrifices, where on the one hand there is a unique lesson of sacrifices, on the other hand, there is a message that we should never kneel before falsehood.

Rukhshanda Muneeb further said that the sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and his martyrdom is a living reality which is a standard of light not only for Islamic history but for the entire humanity.

The purpose of this great sacrifice of Hazrat Hussain Ibn Ali and his companions was the rejection of dictatorship and monarchy and the protection of the most important clause of the Islamic Constitution, the Caliphate and the Council (Shuraiat). She said that understanding the life of Imam Hussain (RA) and his principled stand is very important in today’s social and political conditions.

Rukhshanda Muneeb further said that the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (RA) told the world that staying silent against oppression and compromising with oppression is a crime in itself, which is a disaster not only for this country but also for humanity and human dignity. .
