Rupee makes further recovery against dollar
KARACHI, Sep 27 (SABAH): Pakistani currency continued to stabilize for the second working day of the week, as it made fresh recovery against the US dollar in the inter-bank market on Tuesday.
According to details, the local currency appreciated by Rs3.02 against the greenback and was being traded around Rs234. The rupee had closed at Rs237.02 on Monday, according to Pakistan’s central bank data.
With the latest day-to-day gain, the rupee has cumulatively recovered Rs5.65 in the past two working days.
