Rulers need to know countries cannot be run on external debts, alms; there is no other way but to adopt Islamic System: Sirajul Haq
LOWER DIR, Dec 13 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Sirajul Haq has said that governance of PDM, PPP and PTI has crippled the country. He said the troika of ruling parties was willing the establishment, judiciary and Election Commission of Pakistan obey them whereas JI wished to see neutral role of institutions.
Sirajul Haq was addressing tribal notables and elected counselors of Lower Dir’s tehsil Munda on Tuesday. Emir district Aizazul Mulk Afkari and former nazim of tehsil Munda Hamayun Khan was also present on the occasion.
JI emir said the politics of the rulers revolves around the personal interests and deplored all of them had destroyed country’s institutions as well as economy. He said there was no expectation of improvement from these rulers who made the country a station of foreign non-governmental organisations.
He said the rulers should be cognizant of the fact that countries couldn’t be run on foreign debts as well as alms, and added instead of claims and slogans the ruling parties should tell the nation about their performance. He said the rules of Martial Law and so-called democratic periods remained unsuccessful in delivering to the masses.
He went on to say the solution of country lied in the enforcement of Islamic System, adding Allah Almighty commanded the Muslims to put in place their endeavours for enforcing system introduced by Quran and Sunnah. He added Jamaat was struggling to transform this country into an “Islamic Welfare State”, saying they were waging a war against redundant system of status-quo.
Sirajul Haq maintained that economy of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had been fully destroyed; saying corruption was ruling the roost in the province. There was the worse state of law and order prevailing and panic spreading over the area, he warned, saying street crime was on the rise. He said the police of KPK had failed in providing security to the masses and continued the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) ruling the province since last 10 years had ruined each and every department of the province, particularly, education and health sectors. Ironically, the world was heading in the positive directions while in KPK corruption and crimes were on the rise.
Sirajul Haq said the government had completely failed in bringing down inflation but it could not bring down value of dollar with a view of uplifting economy. He said all the claims of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) met failure, and continued the masses were in trouble at the hands of the rulers.
He said the youth of the country was centre of hopes of the nation whereas big political parties were being controlled only by some individuals and a few families. He said the educated segment of the society had no place in the clubs of feudal lords and capitalists, adding these rulers never wanted that a layman may enter in the Parliament. He said only JI wanted to bring the youth in the mainstream so that they may play their role in the development and prosperity of the country by laying the foundation of an Islamic Pakistan.
Moreover, Sirajul Haq said the JI always made the youth part of legislation and its doors remained open to all and sundry, willing to build the country. He said in JI, every capable and honest individual enjoyed vast opportunities to flourish. He said the people needs to think either they have to live with this outdated system or make a prosperous Islamic Pakistan for the coming generations as time of making decision had reached. There was no hope of improvement from the already tested political parties, he said, and added the present rulers will further push the country towards backwardness if they were further allowed to stay in the power corridors.
