Role of the Frontier Constabulary is of utmost importance in ensuring peace & security: Mohsin Naqvi
ISLAMABAD, Nov 02 (SABAH): Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with the Police Officers from 49th Common who have been recently posted in Frontier Constabulary. He expressed his good wishes to the officers on their appointment in the Frontier Constabulary.
Addressing the officers, Mohsin Naqvi said that the role of the Frontier Constabulary is of utmost importance in ensuring peace and security. He highlighted that the Frontier Constabulary is also fighting alongside other law enforcement agencies in the war against terrorism.
Mohsin Naqvi said that 10 brave sons of FC recently sacrificed their precious lives in Dera Ismail Khan, setting the highest example in the line of duty. He emphasized that the sacrifices of FC personnel have further strengthened our resolve against terrorism and the nation greatly values their sacrifices. Interior Minister stated that FC is being equipped with modern technology and equipment. He underscored that young officers can bring new life to any institution. He stressed that they should perform their duties according to the highest standards of honesty, discipline, and moral conduct. He further said that you have to improve the overall reputation of law enforcement agencies in the eyes of people with your dedication and hard work. He added that good behavior with people is the trait of a good officer.
Mohsin Naqvi stressed the need for establishing strong relationships with people instead of traditional relationships. He said that make a name for yourself in good deeds which will become your identity and go out of the way to help and serve people. He further said that officers who serve people and live in their hearts do not need any recommendations. Federal Secretary Interior Khurram Ali Agha and Commandant Frontier Constabulary Riaz Nazir Gara were also present on the occasion.
