Role of Shaheed Ibrahim Raisi will always be remembered for making Pak-Iran relations sustainable: Liaqat Baloch

ISLAMABAD, July 3 (SABAH): Naib Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Liaqat Baloch has said that the role of Shaheed Raisi and Shaheed Hussain Amir will always be remembered for making Pakistan-Iran relations sustainable. He said the Pakistani government should make the relations with Iran and Afghanistan strong and sustainable. He said the budget has been rejected by the nation as the budget is a document of destruction and ruin for the people.

A national condolence ceremony was organized in the Embassy of Iran by Ambassador Reza Amiri Moghadam in memory of martyred Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi, martyred Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and other martyrs. Liaqat Baloch said the grief of martyrdom was also a great tragedy for the people of Pakistan. He said the martyrdom of Shaheed Raisi had profound positive effects on the world, adding the Iranian leadership and the people instead of drowning in grief turned the great tragedy into a force for national unity and solidarity and adopted the dignified vision and action of Islamic democratic resistance and proved that Islamic Revolution under the leadership of Khomeini is still a living reality.

Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, Zamurd Khan, Pir Safdar Geelani, Professor Mazhar Saleem, Syed Nasir Shirazi, Allama Arif Wahidi, Abdullah Gul, Waqas Khan, Syed Ziaullah Bukhari and other leaders also participated in the embassy ceremony. Liaqat Baloch said that Shaheed Raisi and Shaheed Hossein Amir-Abdollahian played a great positive role for the sustainability of Pakistan-Iran relations and the unity of the Ummah.

On the occasion of the anniversary of Imam Khomeini, Leader Ayatollah Khamenei fully acknowledged the services and abilities of Shaheed Raisi and called him a great loss for democratic Iran, but also called the great tragedy a great blessing for the unity, development and unity of the Ummah. He said Raisi played a vital role against the Palestinian issue and the Israeli aggression in Gaza.

The Iranian Missile/drone attacks on Israel won the hearts of Millat-e-Islamia, he said and added the role of Shaheed Raisi and Shaheed Hussain will always be remembered for making Pak-Iran relations sustainable. He said the visit of the martyred Iranian president to Pakistan before his martyrdom was also very memorable and meaningful.
