Resolution of the problems lies in changing system instead of changing parties & faces: Sirajul Haq

HARIPUR, July 15 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Sirajul Haq has said that world economy, defence and education are occupied by colonialism and our rulers are its servants. He said that resolution of the problems lies in changing system instead of changing parties and faces. He said that the lawyers should create awareness among the masses.

Sirajul Haq said this while addressing the Haripur High Court Bar Association on Friday. Generals came into power while breaking Constitution, and wasted 35 years of the nation, he deplored. “I am putting a query before the politicians. Tell me have you acted upon Constitution,” he questioned.

It is the responsibility of the state and government to provide basic rights of the citizens related to health, education and shelter as per the Constitution of Pakistan, he said, adding what betterment have been brought by three major political parties which governed the country not for once but for time and again.

Recent rainfall damaged whole Sindh especially Karachi but the party governing the province for over 15 years has not been visible, he said. While referring to central government, he said it is being ruled by the father whereas the biggest province by his son even though they are deceiving the people by demanding further powers.

On the same lines, PTI has been in power for nine years in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa besides it’s past federal government kept continue for over three-and-half years, Sirajul Haq said, adding will the ex-premier like to tell the people what change has he brought during this period in the country. While elaborating the so-called change, he said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) gave tickets to PTI dissidents while many former leaders of PML-N are contesting election on the PTI tickets in bye-elections of Punjab.

He appealed to the legal fraternity to convey his message to the nation that solution to the problems lies in the change of system but not in changing parties or faces. Scores of values are common between Jamaat-e-Islami and legal fraternity, he pointed out.

Sirajul Haq said Jamaat-e-Islami is the only one democratic and ideological party of the country and the legal fraternity also relies on the real democratic system. Let us get rid of these tyrants and feudal lords to save the future of coming generations, he added.
