Resolution of Palestine & Kashmir issues is a debt on the neck of Muslim Ummah: Liaqat Baloch

LAHORE, Nov 12 (SABAH): Naib Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Liaqat Baloch has said that resolution of Palestine and Kashmir issues is a debt on the neck of Muslim Ummah. 

During a meeting with the participants of Central Training Workshop and public and political leaders and public delegations of Karachi, Mardan, Rawalpindi and Kandhkot at Mansoorah, Lahore on Sunday, Liaqat Baloch said that it would be a great debacle if heads of Islamic countries don’t take strict measures of the current state of Gaza and Palestine. He further said that resolution of Palestine and Kashmir issues is a debt on the neck of Muslim Ummah.

He said that if Islamic world will delay in taking retaliatory measures, it would make the situation further intense as in this way the occupational forces would further strengthen. “There is a need to take such measures that the oppressive forces could be stopped from perpetrating such heinous actions anymore,” he added. 

“If such heinous actions of occupational forces are not stopped it would put in danger other holy places and the Muslim countries which have strategic importance. This crime would not be forgiven by the nature and the Muslim world. On November 19, a great Gaza March would be taken out in Lahore to express solidarity with the depressed people of Gaza Palestine,” he said.

While talking to public delegations, he said that political stability in the country would result in economic stability and added only elections are not sufficient but free, fair and transparent elections would restore confidence of people. He further said that there is a need of ensuring reliable elections while there is need of giving right to vote to Pakistani diaspora.

Liaqat Baloch said that Jamaat-e-Islami would actively take part in February 8, 2024 elections and added Jamaat-e-Islami’s public, welfare and revolutionary manifesto has been announced. He said that Scale “Tarazoo” symbol is electoral manifesto of Jamaaat-e-Islami.

Naib Emir Jamaat-e-Islami further said that its workers, women and youth will knock down knock the doors of 10 million homes in electioneering. He said that the workers would satisfy the voters of in favour of Jamaat-e-Islami while informing their failures of the rulers and the capacity being enjoyed by JI.

While talking to leaders of Pakhtun Jirga, Liaqat Baloch said that good relations of Pakistan and Afghanistan are the dire need of the region. He said that world powers don’t in favour of good relations of Pakistan and Afghanistan. He said that decision of sending Pakhtuns from Pakistan to Afghanistan was taken in hurry.
