Renowned journalist Salman Ghani decorated with civil award on Pakistan Day for his exceptional performance in journalism

LAHORE, March 23 (SABAH): Renowned journalist Salman Ghani was decorated with civil award on Pakistan Day in recognition of his excellent services in journalism.

A ceremony was held at Governor House Lahore where Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan distributed the awards on behalf of President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari.

Salman Ghani was awarded the Sitara-e-Imtiaz for his exceptional performance in journalism. Political and journalistic personalities while congratulating Salman Ghani on the achievement said that in fact he deserved this award.

Moreover, Anchorperson Kamran Shahid was decorated with the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz for his outstanding services in the field of journalism.

Kamran Shahid is a prominent journalist, who has been serving the media for the past 19 years.

Meanwhile, senior journalists Nasrullah Malik, Muneeb Farooq were also decorated with the awards in the ceremony.
