Recent catastrophic flood has proved incompetence of govt system: Sirajul Haq


JOHOR BAHRU, MALAYSIA, Sep 02 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Sirajul Haq has said that recent catastrophic flood has proved incompetence of the government system.

Sirajul Haq was addressing Pakistani community at Johor Bahru state of Malaysia on Friday. The ceremony was held at the provincial center of Islamic Party of Malaysia. Jamaat’s director for foreign affairs Asif Luqman Qazi was also accompanying him. Sirajul Haq will also participate in the annual session of Malaysia’s Islamic Party.

While addressing the Pakistani community, emir Jamaat-e-Islami said that Islamic movements across the world are like a clan that promotes brotherhood in the Muslim Ummah.

Sirajul Haq maintained that Pakistan is enriched with all natural and human resources [but heading nowhere]. Right now, all the parties are part of government excluding Jamaat-e-Islami and came into power more than one time but remained failed to resolve the hardships of the masses, he deplored. 

Sirajul Haq said that recent catastrophic flood has proved incompetence of the government system. There is a gulf between the ruling class and the masses as rulers live in one Pakistan while the masses in the other one, he deplored. No ruler of the country has solutions of the problems of the people, he said, adding that political parties are calling masses towards slavery of family and personalities.

Sirajul Haq said that Jamaat-e-Islami has a particular programme to serve the nation and solution of public issues. Jamaat-e-Islami has a team of millions of Jamaat’s proactive volunteers are Sirajul Haq said that in all testing times, Jamaat-e-Islami has been giving preferential treatment to service of nation.
