Razia Sultana, daughter of Yasin Malik demands of UN, all other organisations to play their role for release of her father
MUZAFFARABAD, July 20 (SABAH): Illegally detained Kashmiri Hurriyat leader Muhammad Yasin Malik’s daughter Razia Sultana has demanded of the United Nations as well as other all organisations to play their role for release of her father.
Razia Sultana while addressing session of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly session on Thursday said that her father Muhammad Yasin Malik is a symbol of resistance against Indian atrocities in illegal occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
She warned that Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi will be responsible if her father was harmed in any way in the prison. She said her father representing all the Kashmiris has been waging a struggle against the Indian illegal occupation and human rights violations by Indian troops in Occupied Kashmir for the last several decades.
She noted that Yasin Malik sacrificed his health, family and wealth for the sake of freedom movement. “My father is striving for the resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute as per the UN Security Council resolutions,” she added.
It is noteworthy here that Yasin Malik has been languishing in New Delhi’s infamous Tihar Jail for the last over four years. He was sentenced to life imprisonment by a court of India’s dreaded National Investigation Agency in May last year in a false case registered against him.
