Ration distributed among 100 deserving families under Alkhidmat Women Wing Trust Lahore


LAHORE, March 17 (SABAH): Ration was distributed among 100 deserving families under Alkhidmat Women Wing Trust Lahore.  Ceremony of ration distribution was held at Karamat Colony Community Centre.

In the ceremony, particular participation was made by Saima Shabbir President Alkhidmat Trust, Uzma Muhammad Ali Incharge Community Services and others. Ration included flour, sugar, pulses, rice, oil, drinks, palms, and other things.

Talking on the occasion, Saima Shabbir said that Ramadan is a month of doing works of piety. She said Allah Almighty said fasting is for Him and He would give its retribution, adding Ramadan is month in which The Holy Quran was descended. She said they should not waste precious hours of this month, adding during this month we should help the needy, the poor and orphans.

She said, “We should provide an opportunity to the needy people so that they could also benefit from blessings of Ramadan. This will please Almighty Allah and our need brothers and sisters will be able to observe fastings.”

“By serving creatures of Almighty Allah we may collect blessings for hereafter. Alkhidmat Foundation will keep on work of distribution of ration during the whole month of Ramadan,” she said. She also appealed to philanthropists to actively participate in good deeds and Almighty Allah will pay them back.
