Raja Pervez Ashraf visits Embassy of Azerbaijan, expresses solidarity with the govt & people of Azerbaijan over the plane crash
ISLAMABAD; Jan 03 (SABAH): Former Prime Minister and senior parliamentarian Raja Pervez Ashraf visited the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Islamabad on Friday, where he was warmly welcomed by the Ambassador of Azerbaijan, Khazar Farhadov. During the visit, Raja Pervez Ashraf expressed profound sorrow and grief over the tragic loss of lives in the recent passenger plane crash.
The Former Prime Minister offered prayers for the departed souls and extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s solidarity with the people and government of Azerbaijan during this period of mourning and emphasized the enduring bonds of love, brotherhood, and fraternity that unite the two nations.
“Pakistan and Azerbaijan share a unique relationship where the joys and sorrows of one are deeply felt by the other,” Raja Pervez Ashraf remarked.
He prayed for the eternal peace of the deceased, strength and patience for their families, and an early recovery for those injured in the tragic incident.
As a gesture of support, Raja Pervez Ashraf penned his condolences in the embassy’s condolence book, reiterating Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to standing by Azerbaijan during challenging times.
