Raja Liaqat Kayani is recuperating from cardiac procedure: Dr. Imtiaz Khan

WASHINGTON, DC. July 30 (SABAH): Raja Liaqat Kayani, the President of Kashmir House, Washington is resting at home after having gone through Coronary Angioplasty on Tuesday, July 23, 2024. His Cardiologist has provided him a thorough diagnosis of coronary artery disease (CAD); Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty and Coronary Artery Stents Placement.

We were extremely delighted to know that the angioplasty went well for Raja Liaqat Kayani Sahib. Today, he was feeling better at his home surrounded by his family members and friends. Liaqat Sahib is considered a pillar of our community and a respected person for his dedication, commitment, hospitality and generosity. He has dedicated his home as a Kashmir House, said Dr. Ghulam Nabi Fai, Secretary general, World Kashmir Awareness Forum who visited Liaqat Sahib along with Dr. Imtiaz Khan, Sardar Shoaib Irshad and Sharafat Shah.

Dr. Imtiaz Khan said that I was pleased to visit Kayani Sahib at his residence who is recuperating from recent cardiac procedure. AlhamdulilAllah, he is showing decent progress and wish him quick and full recovery.

Sardar Shoaib Irshad and Sharafat Shah who come from the same area in Rawlakot said that Liaqat Sahib has undertaken various community projects in Azad Kashmir to make a difference. Sardar Zarif Khan, Sardar Zulfiqar Roshan Khan and Sardar Zubair Khan said that they have witnessed the progress of most of these projects during their visit to Azad Kashmir.

These projects include ‘Poonch-Bagh Brotherhood Bridge’ which is now operational, and it connects Poonch with Bagh. Another project is construction of 60 miles road which cost more than a million dollars. The donations to this project were made besides Liaqat Sahib by his friends and colleagues. Other projects include ‘Dialysis Center’; ‘Helping poor families for the wedding of their daughters’; ‘Helping youth for their career’; ‘Health Sector’; and ‘Annually community events.’
