Pushing masses of Balochistan, Gwadar against wall detrimental for Pakistan: Sirajul Haq
LAHORE, Dec 30 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Sirajul Haq Friday stated that pushing the masses of Balochistan and Gwadar against wall may prove very detrimental for Pakistan. He stated inflation and unemployment in the country has broken all previous records.
While presiding over the meeting of Central Parliamentary Board at Mansoorah, Sirajul Haq stated that the rulers have been deceiving the masses in all their terms and continued on one side country’s economy was under severe pressure of interest, corruption and debts while the on the other side the rulers were misusing resources extravagantly.
He went on state that the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had immensely damaged the country adding the only Jamaat-e-Islami could take the country out of prevailing crises while enforcing the system introduced by Quran and Sunnah.
He stated the central and provincial governments were like dead bodies being a burden on the masses. The rulers enjoyed perks and privileges along with protocols while they were also responsible for economical, political and moral destruction of the people, he elaborated.
Emir Jamaat-e-Islami stated that pushing the masses of Balochistan and Gwadar against wall may prove very damaging for Pakistan and added the people of Gwadar continued their sit-in for two months but provincial and central governments instead of resolving their issues resorted to police’s crackdown against the protestors which was very condemnable act.
Moreover, Sirajul Haq stated that depriving the people of Balochistan and Gwadar was tantamount to depriving them of justified rights and urged the rulers to admit their failure for remaining failed in sorting out their issues.
On Friday, he stated on appeal of Jamaat-e-Islami under ‘Balochistan Solidarity Day’ the people from across the country staged demonstrations and rallies to exhibit that they stand by their Balochi brethren. All of them wanted that their justified rights be given to them, he stated, and added solution to all the issues was dialogue while use of power mere brings ruin.
