Punjab govt making efforts to overcome smog: Shafqat Mahmood

LAHORE, Nov 28 (SABAH): Minister for Federal Education, Professional Training, National Heritage and Culture Shafqat Mahmood says the government has decided to keep the schools open and conduct all examinations with complete syllabus as per schedule. He said that the Punjab government is making efforts to overcome smog.

Talking to newsmen at the end of the Golf Tournament in Lahore on Sunday, he said the government will deal with the new type of Corona virus through effective strategy.

The Minister said the closure of schools has already badly affected education of the students.

He said the government wants to implement a uniform curriculum across the country. He said that holding fair and transparent elections is the responsibility of the Election Commission of Pakistan.
