PTI followers are crossing all limits to defame Pakistani identity, state & flag: Ahsan Iqbal
ISLAMABAD, August 16 (SABAH): Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Secretary General and former minister for planning, development and special initiatives Ahsan Iqbal Chaudhry has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) followers are crossing all limits to defame Pakistani identity, state and flag.
In a statement issued on twitter on Wednesday, Ahsan Iqbal said that the ugly scenes of PTI supporters making Independence Day celebrations rowdy and abusing Pakistan from all over the world are most deplorable and shameful acts. One doesn’t have to be a genius to know whose agenda is PTI serving by doing all this, he said.
Ahsan Iqbal said that these acts prove that PTI followers are Imran’s cult followers and exhibiting behaviour of cult groups. He said that cult groups display excessively zealous, blind followership and unquestioning commitment towards their leaders, and regard their ideology and practices as the ultimate Truth.
Ahsan Iqbal said that Imran has many times admitted that he plays mind games. These leaders use deception as a hallmark of their propaganda, which prevents critical thinking & good decision making in their followers, he said.
