PTI demands probe as how Naik got Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhail’s note
ISLAMABAD, Feb 24 (SABAH): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) demanded investigation into the matter as how the note of Supreme Court of Pakistan Judge Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhail containing of his reservations regarding the suo motu notice by the apex reached PPP leader Senator Farooq Hamid Naik.
PTI Senior Vice President Fawad Chaudhry, in his strong reaction to the unfortunate development on Friday, stated that it was very worrisome that Justice Mandokhail’s note, which was yet to be made part of the order, reached Farooq Naik. He demanded that there should be an investigation into the matter and Farooq Naik should be asked who delivered this note to him.
Lashing out the imported government for their inability to get the country out of the prevailing crisis, Fawad stated that the leadership of the ruling parties were well-trained fraudulent. He said that on one hand, Khawaja Asif has been shedding tears for half an hour that he could not audit Islamabad club, on the other, the membership of the club was sold for Rs. 10 million during the Zardari and Sharif regimes and all clubs were destroyed.
PTI General Secretary Central Punjab Muhammad Hammad Azahr said that the matter of the holding of the polls was very simple and clear as no legal complications were involved in it. He said that elections were to be held within 90 days of the dissolution of the assembly and it was clearly and explicitly mentioned in the constitution.
Hammad Azhar went on to say that the matter was so simple that even a magistrate could easily interpret it what to talk of a full bench of the Supreme Court. He challenged that the PML-N should better to test their strength in the field of the elections instead of attacking the state institutions all the time.
