PTI Chairman Imran Khan forms 7-member committee for holding talks with govt

ISLAMABAD, May 27 (SABAH): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan on Saturday constituted a negotiating team to hold talks with the government.

The team, comprising Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Pervez Khan Khattak, Asad Qaiser, Haleem Adil Sheikh, Aun Abbass Bappi, Murad Saeed and Hammad Azhar, will be responsible for formulating a plan of action in relation to the elections and engaging with the government.

The notification issued by newly appointed PTI Secretary General Umar Ayub Khan says on the instructions of Imrna Khan, Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf the following members are nominated as members of a “Negotiation Committee”, to hold negotiations on behalf of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.

It has not been mentioned in the notification that on which issue the PTI committee will hold negotiations with the government.
