PTI announces to hold peaceful protests across the country on Saturday

RAWALPINDI, Feb 15 (SABAH): Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has said that they will hold a peaceful protest across the country on Saturday. He said they invited to all the political parties to join the protest.

While talking to the media along with PTI leaders outside Adiala Jail, Gohar Ali Khan said that he will defend the mandate of Tehreek-e-Insaf at every forum, the party which managed to win 20 seats with difficulty is being given the government.

Barrister Gohar Khan said that the founder gave a briefing to PTI regarding the election. According to the record, Tehreek-e-Insaf has won 180 seats. Our one point agenda was that we will not do power politics. .

He said that it is the constitutional and legal right of the people to protest, arrests should not be made, the request is that these are short cases and that the cases of 70 constituencies be decided soon.

On this occasion, Sher Afzal Khan Marwat said that all the messages of the People’s Party should be presented to the founder of PTI, the founder of PTI has adopted a blunt position and will not share power with PML-N or People’s Party or MQM. The freedom of the people was taken away.

Omar Ayub has been nominated as a potential candidate for the office of prime minister by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

Meanwhile PTI leader and former National Assembly speaker Asad Qaiser revealed the name of Omar Ayub Khan as a candidate for the prime minister position, while Aqib Khan has been nominated for the office of speaker of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly.

Speaking to media outside Adiala jail, Asad Qaiser announced plans to engage in discussions with all political parties, including the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), the Awami National Party (ANP), and the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam. He also hinted at protesting against the Feb 8 polls results, stating that PTI’s mandate was stolen.

The former speaker pledged to sit in the National Assembly and conduct a parliamentary session in a day or two.

Asad Qaiser shared the statements of the PTI founder after meeting him in Adiala jail with the approval of the Islamabad High Court. He said the PTI founder discussed matters related to political alliances, the new government, and the political situation in the meeting.
