Prof. Ibrahim Khan condemns straight firing on protestors in Bannu by the security forces
PESHAWAR, July 19 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Professor Muhammad Ibrahim Khan while condemning the straight firing on the protestors in Bannu by the security forces has expressed grief and sorrow on the martyrdoms in the incident.
In a statement issued on Friday, Professor Muhammad Ibrahim Khan said that the people of Bannu carried out the historic protest for peace and while participating in the protest by large number, the people proved that they are against both terrorism and operation and want peace in their area.
Professor Muhammad Ibrahim Khan said that in these circumstances the straight firing from Cantt on the protestors is regrettable, adding that we condemn this brutal firing. Professor Muhammad Ibrahim Khan prayed for eternal peace for those killed and martyred. Professor Muhammad Ibrahim Khan also prayed for early recovery of the injured persons. He appealed the people of Bannu to show patience.
Professor Ibrahim demanded of the government to immediately announce compensation for the heirs of the martyrs and implement it. He said that while respecting the sentiments of the masses the security forces should understand the intensity of the situation and whatever has happened should be compensated.
