Problems of country & nation could only be resolved by making it an Islamic, ideological & welfare State: Hafiz Naeemur Rehman

KARACHI, Aug 14 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Engineer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has said that problems of the country and the nation could only be resolved by making it an Islamic, ideological and welfare State.

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman expressed these views while addressing a flag hoisting ceremony regarding 76th Independence Day held at New MA Jinnah Road, Karachi adjacent to Idara Noor-E-Haq on Monday.

Naib Emir Dr. Osama Rzi, Secretary Karachi Munim Zafar Khan, Barjais Ahmed, Muslim Pervez, Raja Arif Sultan, Chief Executive Alkhidmat Naveed Ali Baig, Deputy Secretary Rashid Qureshi and other office-bearers participated in the flag hoisting ceremony.

Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi said that due to immortal efforts and sacrifices of Muslims of Sub-Continent as well as on the basis of Two Nations Theory, Pakistan into existence. He noted Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah obtained a separate territory of land so that the Muslims could pass their lives according to Islamic teachings, implementing Islamic laws and making Pakistan a role model in the whole world.

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman went on to say that the rulers imposed on the country and aristocracy kept it far from the purpose of its existence and added all the destruction and current state of affairs of the country is the result of policies of the gang of rulers including civil and army dictators.

He noted, “There is a need of getting rid of the gang of rulers to come out of the current deteriorated situation of the country and instead of giving message of disappointment to the nation there is need of making efforts by forging unity.” He said that Pakistan is full of human as well as natural resources and it needed only capable, honest and sympathetic leadership.

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said today they will remember their Kashmiri brothers and added Pakistan is incomplete without Kashmir. “We mark today’s ceremony on the name of Kashmiris. They are also celebrating Independence Day of Pakistan in Occupied Kashmir,” he added.
