ISLAMABAD, Mar 15 (SABAH): Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has said that the problem with populists is that they suffer from the delusion of being bigger than the country and its people.
In a statement issued on twitter on Tuesday, Shehbaz Sharif said that everything revolves around their inflated ego and their reference point is rooted in the past than a vision for the future. However, the real world doesn’t operate like that.
Meanwhile a delegation of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) called on President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif to discuss matters of mutual interest. JUI-F Chief and Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) President Maulana Fazlur Rehman was also present in the meeting.
According to details, the delegation consisting of Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Aamir Khan, Waseem Akhtar, Syed Amin ul Haque and other leaders of the party, discussed political situation of the country as well as opposition’s no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan. PML-N and JUI-F leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Ahsan Iqbal Chaudhry, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Rana Sanaullah Khan, Marriyum Aurangzeb, Maulana Abdul Gahfoor Haidery and other leaders were also present on the occasion.
Meanwhile according to the statement issued by PML-N, MQM-Pakistan Convener Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui has invited Mian Shehbaz Sharif and Maulana Fazlur Rehman along with their delegations for meeting today (Wednesday) at the Parliament Lodges. The meeting will be held at 5:00 PM.
