President Zardari, PM Shehbaz express Pakistan’s firm commitment to root out the menace of terrorism

ISLAMABAD, July 16 (SABAH): President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have expressed Pakistan’s firm commitment to root out the menace of terrorism.

In a statement on Tuesday, President Asif Ali Zardari appreciated security forces for foiling the terrorist attack on Bannu cantonment.

Paying homage to the martyred soldiers, he said our soldiers saved the nation from a big loss by taking timely action.

Condoling with the bereaved families, the President prayed for the higher ranks of martyrs. He said the nation is proud of the sacrifices of its soldiers.

Meanwhile Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said the entire nation stands with security forces in the war against terrorism. In a statement on Tuesday, PM Shehbaz Sharif commended security forces for foiling a major terrorist attack on Bannu cantonment.

Condemning the terrorist attack on the cantonment, the Prime Minister paid homage to the soldiers of Pakistan Army and Frontier Constabulary who were martyred in the attack.

Condoling with the bereaved families, the Prime Minister prayed for higher ranks of the martyrs. He said we pay tributes to the brave security personnel.

PM Shehbaz Sharif said our armed forces and other security forces have rendered immense sacrifices in the war on terrorism.

The Prime Minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to eliminate the menace of terrorism.
