President Zardari, PM Shehbaz commend security forces for killing 16 terrorists in North Waziristan District

ISLAMABAD, March 23 (SABAH): President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have commended the security forces for successfully foiling an infiltration attempt of the terrorists through Pakistan-Afghanistan border in Ghulam Khan Kallay area of North Waziristan District.

In their separate statements issued on Sunday, they lauded the professionalism of security forces’ officers and personnel for killing all 16 terrorists.

The President said valiant forces of Pakistan are determined to defend country’s frontiers.

He said action against terrorists will continue till the complete eradication of the scourge of terrorism.

The Prime Minister said we will not let terrorists succeed in their nefarious designs. He said the entire Pakistani nation, including him, is standing beside their valiant armed forces in their unwavering resolve to protect the country from terrorists.

Meanwhile Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi strongly condemned the firing attack on a police mobile near Gharibabad, Noshki. He paid rich tribute to the four police personnel who embraced martyrdom during the incident. Interior Minister expressed his heartfelt condolences to the families of the martyrs. He said that the brave police personnel sacrificed their lives for the protection of the nation, and their sacrifice is truly commendable.

Mohsin Naqvi affirmed that the sacrifices of the martyred police personnel would not go in vain and that the entire nation stands in solidarity with them. He further stated that the nefarious intentions of those disrupting peace in Balochistan would be foiled.
