President Zardari, PM Shehbaz applaud Pakistan Navy for its dedication, bravery & sacrifices

ISLAMABAD, Sep 08 (SABAH): President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have applauded Pakistan Navy for its dedication, bravery and sacrifices.                   

In their separate messages on the occasion of Navy Day observed on Sunday, they said entire nation is proud of Pakistan Navy, which always stands ready to defend the country’s maritime borders.

In his message, President Asif Ali Zardari said Pakistan Navy is well equipped to deal with conventional and non-conventional naval challenges facing the country.

Reiterating the commitment to further modernize Pakistan Navy, Asif Ali Zardari said a strong Navy is a guarantor of our security and prosperity.                                                                 

He said Pakistan Navy has a key role in the promotion of national defense and regional peace and sacrifices of the heroes of Pakistan Navy are a beacon of light for the nation.

In his message, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said Pakistan Navy’s resolute spirit and determination despite all challenges, exemplifies their unwavering dedication to duty and passion for the country.

In a post on social media platform X, Shehbaz Sharif extended his heartfelt felicitations to Pakistan Navy personnel.

In a message on the occasion, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif said officers and jawans of Pakistan Navy are the nation’s pride.

She saluted personnel of Pak Navy, serving to protect Pakistan’s sea boundaries.
