President, PM, Maryam, Aseefa express sympathies & condolences over the loss of precious lives due to powerful earthquake in Turkiye & Syria
ISLAMABAD, Feb 06 (SABAH): President Dr. Arif Alvi, Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senior Vice President and Chief Organizer Maryam Nawaz Sharif and Aseefa Bhutto Zardari have expressed sympathies and condolences over the loss of precious lives due to powerful earthquake in Turkiye, Syria and other neighboring countries.
President Dr. Arif Alvi in a statement issued on twitter on Monday said that he was deeply saddened over the loss of precious lives due to powerful earthquake in Turkiye. “My condolences to President Erdogan, people of Turkiye and the families of the victims of the earthquake” he said.
President Dr. Arif Alvi said that in this hour of grief, the people of Pakistan and my sympathies are with Turkiye. “May Allah grant patience to the heirs of the deceased, may the deceased rest in peace. My sincerest condolences to the people of Syria also over the loss of precious lives” he said.
Meanwhile Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in his statement said that he was deeply saddened by the news of a massive earthquake that struck southeastern region of Türkiye. “I send my profound condolences and most sincere sympathies to my brother President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and brotherly people of Türkiye on the loss of precious lives and damage to infrastructure.
PM Shehbaz Sharif said that we send our heartfelt condolences and most sincere sympathies to the government and the people of Syria who have suffered major human and material losses from the devastating earthquake early Monday morning.
Meanwhile Maryam Nawaz Sharif in her statement said that her earnest prayers for the people of Turkiye and affected neighbouring countries after the devastating earthquake in the region. “May Allah help the victims as they recover from this calamity. In this hour of distress, we stand with you” Maryam Nawaz said.
Meanwhile Aseefa Bhutto Zardari in statement said that prayers for Turkiye, Syria and Lebanon who have suffered a massive calamity. “Our thoughts and prayers go towards the many injured and the families of those tragically killed” Aseefa Bhutto said in a statement issued on twitter on Monday.
