President Dr. Arif Alvi strongly condemns heinous assassination attempt on Imran Khan in Wazirabad area of Gujranwala

ISLAMABAD, Nov 03, (SABAH): President Dr. Arif Alvi has strongly condemned the heinous assassination attempt on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan in Wazirabad area of Gujranwala on Thursday.

In a statement issued on Thursday, President Dr. Arif Alvi said “I thank Allah that he is safe but injured with few bullets in his leg and hopefully non-critical. This attack is shocking, alarming, disgraceful, deceitful and cowardly. May Allah give him health and to all those injured”. President said “I have sought immediate reports from authorities”.

President Dr. Arif Alvi has also offered condolences to family of deceased political worker who died during the incident.
