Present ruling junta responsible for destruction of economy, other issues: Sirajul Haq
LAHORE, Dec 19 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Sirajul Haq has said that Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) were eying at establishment [for their future]. He said their ideologies were alike one another while the clash was only of interests.
Sirajul Haq said this while talking to several delegations at Mansoorah on Monday. He further said that the people got bored in wake of political games perpetrated by the three political parties and continued destructive politics destroyed each and every sector of the country. He held the present ruling junta responsible for destruction of economy and other prevailing issues.
He went on to say that the central and provincial governments were hold one another responsible for current deteriorated situation whereas all of them were responsible for this, and added now the masses identified them. The cruel land lords and corrupt capitals destroyed economy and society, pushing the country towards a narrow closed-end street, he added.
Sirajul Haq said that solution to the problems of the country lies only in the enforcement of Islamic System and appealed to the masses to stand by Jamaat-e-Islami for the sake of setting up the rule of justice and building corruption free clean and green Pakistan. He said religion could only bring peace and prosperity to the country.
Emir Jamaat-e-Islami said that there had been shortage in production of big industries since last two months and continued that dollar mafia was controlling the dollar price, pointing towards difference price of dollar in black market, interbank and open market. Due to currency crisis ATM remained closed for two days in Lahore like cities, he deplored.
Sirajul Haq said that flour was being sold at Rs 130 per kg while prices of bread and naan bread had reached from Rs 20 to Rs 25. He said the doors of employment had been closed for youth while the giant of inflation had made the lives of the poor segments of the society unbearable.
He went on to say that farmers, the laborers, daily-wagers and public sector employees were worried over inflation and added that one out of every five citizens was facing depression in wake of the present situation. He said only the wealth of rulers was being multiplied whereas the general masses were facing hard times. He also said that the condition of energy crisis was very appalling and added that country’s circular debt reached to Rs 2.6 trillion.
He said the rulers did not fulfill promises made to the masses of Karachi and Gwadar whereas there was alarming situation of law and order in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He also said that no-one was bothered about flood victims and added the politics of ruling parties consisted of lies and breaking of promises. The faithful to oppressive forces had defaced the country, he said, and stressed upon the masses to show them the road leading to their homes.
Sirajul Haq said that Jamaat-e-Islami was ray of hope in such testing time and appealed to the masses to support it for bringing real change to the country. He said that Jamaat-e-Islami always stood by the nation in every testing time whereas the rulers holding green card rulers leave the country in such times. If Jamaat-e-Islami came into power, it will purge of the economy of the country from riba and the youth would be given employments.
