PPP committee holds first meeting with PML-N

ISLAMABAD, Feb 14 (SABAH): The Contact and Coordination Committee of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) had a contact with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).

A consultative meeting was held between the committees of the PPP and the PML-N. Proposals were discussed regarding inflation, unemployment and relief from poverty in the country.

It was agreed that there is a need for a stable democratic government to deal with the challenges of economy, politics, law and order and terrorism.

There is another meeting scheduled for tomorrow (Thursday) of both the committees in which the representatives of PML-N from other provinces will also participate. The matters will also be put before other like-minded political parties after which they will be finalised.

PPP committee members include Syed Murad Ali Shah, Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Saeed Ghani, Senator Nisar Ahmed Khuro; meanwhile PML-N members include Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Senator Chaudhry Azam Nazir Tarar Advocate and Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan.
