Political stability is vital for economic development: Ahsan Iqbal

SHEIKHUPURA, Sep 29 (SABAH): Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has said that the economic development in the country is directly linked with political stability and promotion of knowledge.

Speaking at a ceremony in Sheikhupura on Sunday, he said if we want to see our country strong, we must ensure peace and stability.

He said that Allah Almighty bestowed the Holy Prophet (SAWW) miracle of knowledge in the form of the Holy Quran and conveyed message that the coming time is of knowledge.

The Minster said that we have abandoned the path of knowledge and practice of religious teachings in daily life which pushed us to backwardness and ignorance in all sectors.
