Political leadership through its acts pushing independence of judiciary against walls: Liaqat Baloch

LAHORE/SARGODHA/BHAKKAR, May 8 (SABAH): Naib Emir Jamaat-e-Islami and former parliamentary leader, Liaqat Baloch has political leadership through its acts is pushing the independence of judiciary against the walls.

While addressing the workers conventions at DHA Lahore, Bhakkar, Kallur Kot, Mehndawala and Sargodha, Liaqat Baloch said that confrontation between Parliament and judiciary as well as government’s dishonesty proved that electoral process in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab has been disrupted and warned if in such a situation political leadership doesn’t search a solution of political crisis it would be held responsible for any extra-constitutional action. Political leadership through its acts is pushing the independence of judiciary against the walls while touching extremes in the politics, he added.

Middle class, he said, has been badly damaged by inflation, production cost, unemployment while industry, business and construction work was being closed, waring army of jobless people will destroy each and every thing in the country.

For the sake of reaching an accord with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Liaqat Baloch said, blood of poor masses was sucked but the economic crisis remains as it is and continued that loans, corruption and interest-based economy was a reason behind devastation.  Only though self-reliance, relying on own resources and restoration of confidence of Pakistani diaspora may end the prevailing crisis, he added.
