Political instability is becoming fatal for national economy: Liaqat Baloch
LAHORE/ISLAMABAD, March 19 (SABAH): Naib Emir Jamaat-e-Islami, Liaqat Baloch has said that political instability is becoming fatal for national economy.
Liaqat Baloch expressed these views while addressing aftaar program in Lahore and Islamabad. He said the patron in-chief of federal government has rung bell of economic destruction. He said that federal and provincial governments failed in controlling inflation during the month of Ramadan.
He said that prices of electricity, gas, petrol and water are beyond the control of people, and added with high rate of interest, trade and agriculture will not run. He said it is writing on the wall that it has become impossible to run governments and Pakistan with the conditions of International Monetary Fund (IMF). He said shifting all the burden of conditions of IMF on the masses is clear human enmity.
He further said that due to attitude of the government, crime rate is multiplying. He said it has become impossible for the people to bear the burden of utility bills. He said that civil and army junta should not enjoy perks and privileges anymore and administrative expenditures should be cut by 50 percent. He said the country could be run by cutting the prices of free of cost petrol, electricity, gas, water and TADA.
Liaqat Baloch said that political instability is becoming fatal for national economy. He said that worst rigging of 2024 elections will prove centre of destruction. After elections of 2013 and 2018, the national political democratic leadership should not limit itself mere on protest regarding 2024 elections.
During the month of Ramadan, the federal and provincial failed in overcoming inflation in the country. He said every step of government of making the people slave is creating hatred among the people, adding temporary relief for some families is insufficient as 25 core people want solution of their issues.
