PMSA arrests 31 Indian fishermen, 5 boats seized

KARACHI, Feb 20 (SABAH): Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) on Sunday arrested 31 Indian fishermen and seized 5 boats during patrolling in Pakistan territorial waters.

According to PMSA, the arrested fishermen were engaged in poaching well inside Pakistani maritime zone.

The boats were towed to Karachi for further legal proceedings as per Pakistani law and the UN Convention on Law of the Sea.
