PML-N would win the next elections in the country: Maryam Nawaz
ISLAMABAD, Feb 11 (SABAH): Senior Vice President and Chief Organizer of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Maryam Nawaz Sharif said on Saturday that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s “selectors”, who brought him into power in 2018, are now “regretting” their decision.
Addressing the PML-N workers’ convention in Islamabad, Maryam Nawaz said: “Your [Khan] selection committee has been dissolved, and the selectors have left for home.”
The PML-N leader vowed that the Bhara Kahu Flyover would be completed soon. She urged the people to compare the governance of PML-N and PTI during the past 10 years in Punjab and KP, respectively.
“Nawaz Sharif is called [back] whenever the country falls by the hands of the incompetent,” the PML-N leader added.
Maryam Nawaz lashed out at the previous government of PTI and said that Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Finance Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar should have made the person, who has restricted himself to Zaman Park, sit before the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for talks.
She maintained that Imran Khan would be held accountable for Toshakhana gifts and concealing information regarding his alleged daughter Tyrian Jade White in his nomination papers for the 2018 elections.
The PML-N leader further said that the PTI chief’s wife, Bushra Bibi, would also be held accountable for “robbing diamonds”.
Speaking to her party workers, the PML-N leader vowed that her party would win the next elections in the country.
PML-N initiated the China–Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), created jobs, and provided laptops to students, she said, adding, “The future of youth is linked with PML-N.” She vowed that her party would steer the country out of the prevailing crisis.
She said that no stone will be left unturned to steer the country out of all challenges. She said the government led by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is working tirelessly to clear the mess left behind by the PTI government.
She asked the people to have faith in the PML-N which, she said, has always delivered when came to power and put the country on the path of development.
She said the future of youth is linked with the PML-N which gave them the loan program, laptops and scholarships. The CPEC project also gave them job opportunties. Marriyum Nawaz said her party is not scared of elections rather has started preparations in this regard.
Maryam Nawaz said that the country cannot be put on track in just four months after the devastation caused during the past four years.
Maryam Nawaz said that she suffered the revenge of NAB during the previous government’s tenure, adding that the previous government couldn’t even built Rawal flyover due to its incompetence and Shehbaz Sharif completed the project. “The people should compare the governance of PML-N and PTI during the past 10 years in Punjab and KP, respectively,” she added.
