PM Shehbaz welcomes Supreme Court taking suo motu notice of murder of journalist Arshad Sharif

ISLAMABAD, Dec 06, (SABAH): Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has welcomed Supreme Court of Pakistan taking suo motu notice of the murder of journalist Arshad Sharif.

In a statement issued on twitter on Tuesday, PM Shehbaz Sharif said that he had already written a letter to Honorable Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Umar Ata Bandial for setting up a Judicial Commission to probe the murder. He said that the government will extend full cooperation to the Court.

“I welcome Supreme Court taking suo motu notice of the murder of journalist Arshad Sharif. I had already written a letter to Honorable Chief Justice of Pakistan for setting up a Judicial Commission to probe the murder. The government will extend full cooperation to the Court” Shehbaz Sharif tweeted.
