PM Shehbaz thanks Caretaker CM Punjab Mohsin Naqvi for giving relief to Punjab govt employees & pensioners as par with federal govt’s employees & pensioners on his request

ISLAMABAD, July 23 (SABAH): Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has thanked Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi for giving relief to the Punjab government employees and pensioners as par with federal government’s employees and pensioners on his request and secured the prayers of the hundreds and thousands of government employees and pensioners.

In a statement issued on Sunday on twitter, PM Shehbaz Sharif congratulated the government employees of Punjab over 35 percent increase in salary and pensioners over 17.5 percent increase in pension. PM Shehbaz Sharif said that with the blessings of Almighty Allah it is his promise with the brothers and sisters of the country that we will overcome the darkness of economic degradation, poverty and inflation.

Meanwhile Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has felicitated Hamza Khan, the nation and all the players for winning the World Junior Squash Championship.

In a statement on Sunday, he thanked the young Squash player Hamza Khan for giving this title to Pakistan again after 37 years. He said Hamza Khan has recalled the victory of 1986 World Squash Champion Jan Sher Khan. He said the nation pays tribute to you for raising the flag of Pakistan once again in Squash arena.

The Prime Minister hoped that Hamza Khan will make Pakistan invincible in Squash again in the near future. He also congratulated Hamza Khan’s parents, coach and all the team members.

He said Pakistan won many honours in mountaineering, boxing, squash and other sports in a brief period of 15 months.

Meanwhile Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed deep grief over the death of a senior member of the royal family of Qatar Sheikh Muhammad bin Hamad bin Abdullah bin Jassim Al Thani.

In a tweet on Sunday, he extended his deepest condolences to the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and the bereaved family. He prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.

“Deeply grieved to learn of the passing away of Sheikh Muhammad bin Hamad bin Abdullah bin Jassim Al Thani, a senior member of the royal family of Qatar. I extend my deepest condolences to H.H. Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar and the bereaved family. May Allah rest the departed soul in eternal peace!” PM Shehbaz Sharif tweeted.
