PM Shehbaz Sharif appoints Tariq Bajwa as his special assistant on finance with immediate effect

ISLAMABAD, Oct 05 (SABAH): Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has appointed former secretary finance and former governor State Bank of Pakistan, Tariq Bajwa as his special assistant on finance with immediate effect.

According to the notifications issued by the Cabinet Division on Wednesday, the status of Tariq Bajwa will be equal to minister of stat.

The notification of Tariq Bajwa’s appointment states:

No-3-2/2022-Min-1(i).-The Prime Minister, in terms of rule 4(6) of the Rules of Business, 1973, read with serial number 1A of Schedule V-A of the said Rules, has been pleased to appoint Mr. Tariq Bajwa, as Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Finance with the status of Minister of State, with immediate effect.

The notification has been issued by Senior Joint Secretary Cabinet Division Taimur Tajammal. The copies of the notification have been sent to all the concerned officials.
